At first it was difficult for me since we couldn’t write about ourselves and what was happening because that’s all I did in my notebook entries that we had to write at first. After a while I got the hang of what to rite, but then my brain would be stumped on what topics to write about. I mostly wrote about ANYHTHING that came to my mind at any time. My blog never ever really had a specific thing that it talked about like some other peoples blogs did. Some things in the beginning that you could find in the beginning were like world issues and thing that were happening in the economy that affected us as Americans and basically moved on to me in a personal way of things I liked, but I never put it in there that it was about me. Some things that you could see that I mostly wrote about were music and the artist that produced it, ghost things, traveling, piercings, and things like that. Blogs were sometimes difficult for me and some days they weren’t, but when I typed them I always took a lot of time on them I would say the time that I spent on them were about 45 minutes. The difficult thing would be finding the time to type them and access to a computer. I have a computer at home but we have slow internet because I live in the boonies so it took FOREVER to load up a page and also dealing with a job where you work all the time is hard. Then when you get time to blog I’m stumped on what to write about. Blogging isn’t a bad thing and for some people they love it, but for my technique I don’t think this was the best thing for me. I really didn’t like blogging and it always was a pain for me and I actually liked it better where in the beginning we wrote in our notebooks because it was there for me. In my blogs you can tell which ones I had the most fun with and the ones that you could tell I had no idea what to write after I typed the next word.

Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor is a movie that came out and basically told the story about “Pearl Harbor”
The people in this are Josh Hartnett, Ben Affleck, and Kate Beckinsale. The movie starts out two pilots who are best friends are playing with each other as little boys and they get in trouble with one of the boy’s dad because they were playing in his airplane and they started it and they went and made it run. Then it flashes to the future to them in the navy. It starts in to the story of love nurses test out all the pilots when Ben Affleck sees Kate Beckinsale and falls in love with her instantly and basically makes a fool out of himself to get next to her. It ends up they are together and they all go to New York. It’s at New York where Ben Affleck tells her that he volunteered to go over to Europe for WW2. He leaves and then all the nurses and navy men go to Hawaii where they are stationed. It flashes over to Ben Affleck fighting in WW2 in a jet fighter where he is shot down. Back over in Hawaii Josh Hartnett “Danny” tells “Evelyn” Kate Beckinsale that “Rafe” Ben Affleck died. She of course is depressed, but then it shows Danny and Evelyn blooming in to a love as she lets go of Rafe after so long. It turns out after Rafe isn’t actually dead he comes home to find Danny and Evelyn in love and together which tears him a part. Then it goes in to a scene where Danny and Rafe get in to it at a little bar where all his friends are drinking well it gets in to a punching match and the cops show up so they hurry and scramble out of there together. The next day is when the bombing of Pearl Harbor begins which is sad. Danny and Rafe get in to a plane and shoot all the “japs” that they could down. After all this they were rewarded the silver star and promoted for captain for doing this. They then have to go on a top secret mission where they must train to go to Japan to bomb them back. While this happens Evelyn tells Rafe she is pregnant with Danny’s baby but Danny mustn’t know. They train for their mission and when it happens all the planes run out of gas where they land in “jap” territory. They are taken for hostage where they were going to kill Rafe until Danny went to be a hero and hit the Japenese and he was shot. Danny then as he is dieing learns he is going to be a father. They come back with Danny in a coffin where Evelyn is waiting. She then figures out he died. It goes to the ending where Rafe and she is together with a little boy, Danny’s boy. It was cute because the little boy is named Danny. This movie is so good and it shows a good story of love and what happened at Pearl Harbor.
Jack the Ripper

Jack the Ripper was the name given to a serial killer who roamed the streets of London, England in 1888. He was famous for reeling in prostitutes and killing them by slitting their throats and removing their internal organs from their bodies. The killer was never identified which is why this is one of the most famous cases in history. These killings were known as “The Whitechapel Killings.”
Here are some of the known victims:
Mary Ann Nichols nicknamed Poly was discovered at 3:40 A.M. on the ground in front of a gated stable in Buck Row Street in a back alleyway. Her throat was slit twice and her abdomen was severed severely by stabbing wounds facing downward.
Annie Chapman nick named Dark Annie was found at 6 A.M. was found lying in the back yard of 29 Hanbury Street. Again like Mary her throat was cut twice and her abdomen exposed open with the removal of her uterus.
Elizabeth Stride nick named Long Liz was discovered at 1 A.M. lying on the ground in Dutfield’s yard off Berner Street. She was cut on the throat and only suffered from severe blood loss as they think the attacker was disturbed during this time.
Catherine Eddows was found the next day previous Elizabeth. Her throat was cut twice and her abdomen was exposed with a missing kidney and a major part of her uterus was missing.
Mary Jane Kelly nick named Ginger was discovered at 10:45 A.M. on her bed I her apartment. Her body mutilated as her throat was cut all the way down to her spine. All her internal organs were missing including her heart.
Other alleged victims that COULD HAVE been by the ripper are Emma Elizabeth Smith who survived the attack but later at the hospital slipped in to a coma and died, Martha Tabram suffered from 39 stab wounds and died, Rose Mylett who was strangled by a cord, Alice Mckenzie who suffered a cordial to the right artery, but her body showed bruises and cuts as if struggling, The Pinchin Street Torso who was found with the head and legs cut off, but this could have been the doings of another serial killer at the time called “Torso Killer,” last but not least Frances Cole suffered from a head injury from being thrown before her throat was cut.
Many clues lead back to Jack the Ripper but there never was a suspect. Now there are many movies you can watch that hit Hollywood about this famous serial killer. One thing is for sure this guy was pretty sick.

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe--- what are the things that pop in to your head when you think of this woman? I can tell you I think she was beautiful, young, rich, a hard worker, and definitely an intelligent young woman.
Marilyn Monroe was born June 1, 1926 and died August 5, 1962. Her real name was Norma Jeane Mortenson but she was baptized as Norma Jeane Baker. She grew up in Los Angeles, California and lived in a foster home with parents as her mother was unable to take care of her. Her father divorced her mother before Marilyn was even born and was never really around her father so instead of taking his last name Mortenson she changed it to her mother’s last name which was Baker. At 9 years old she was placed in a foster home and from then on was moved around a lot. She married at a very young age so she wouldn’t go back to living in foster homes. She divorced him in 1946 and continued to pursue her career.
She was living with her in laws as her husband was a merchant marine when they were looking for models. At this time Marilyn was a brunette so she dyed her hair blonde and they loved it. She was offered a six month contract starting out at $125 per week for fox century from being discovered for modeling. And thus she changed her name because she was reminded by the actress Marilyn Miller so she took her grandfather’s last name Monroe as her surname so it was Marilyn Monroe. She started out in small roles and was assigned to go to New York where she met her agent Johnny Hyde and stared in hit roles. Hyde bought her a 7 year contract with Fox Century just before dying in Dec. 1950.
Marilyn attended California University to study art and on the side doing small roles in films. She then started getting noticed a lot and from then on played in many movies and even posed for play boy.
In later years Marilyn suffered from a miscarriage. She was often late and showed extreme behavior after that especially in a film directed by Wilder. Even though the film was nominated for five academy awards and she won for best actress. She then later divorced her second husband in January 1961 and in Feb. she checked herself in to the psych ward for 3 weeks which this then put a slow down to her career. She did more movies and even got to sing happy birthday to JFK. Marilyn died on August 5 in her home in Brentwood, California of an overdose. But the cause of her death still lays in question.

The Power of Love

Is love an emotion or really something genetically programmed in our bodies to feel. One thing is for sure love can make you feel so powerful, but then again when were alone it’s something that is so hard to deal with. My question is why is this? Love is a very strong emotion, well just call it that. Let me put out a scenario for you.
When two lovers are dating and do everything together eventually stronger feelings start to overcome them. This is when I said love can make you feel powerful. When you have these feelings I believe it’s very essential to life. When the two lovers fall apart for anyone who has been there it is the hardest thing to overcome. You would think dying sounds so much better than going through a pain like that. I don’t understand why that is and I don’t care who says what, but I even believe scientist can’t even figure out why. Love is something I believe that is mysterious and works in so many ways that logic can’t even explain. Yes we can all say what part of the brain stimulates these emotions, but can we really get down to the core of this and explain why?
Love is something I believe the world cannot survive with out and I believe we can all say it’s an essential to life like water is to the body. We will all feel it sometime in one way or another and just like Gandhi or Mother Theresa has expressed that “We are put on this world to love and be loved in return.” If you really think about it why else are we living?
Every living thing on this earth has something they can all relate to and that’s the subject I’m talking about. Have you ever seen a dove with its mate? They say when one of two lovers die the other dove will die eventually from a heart break. Love is something so great, but at the same time it’s a quick poison. Everyone wants it and everyone will give it. It’s also scary in a sense that we can’t even control how it affects us. In life we can either resent it or we can embrace what it has in store for us. It makes the heart grow weaker but stronger at the same time. Love is a work of master piece.

Key West, Florida

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 132px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/ShLKoedlJQI/AAAAAAAAADM/io-vGKTDfZ0/s200/key+west.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337551305108169986" />
If you have been to Key West I’m pretty sure you would agree with me that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It’s so tropical and so small and historical that you really catch the vibe of the place. There are so many things to do down there from Jet Skiing in the Caribbean and Atlantic, Parasailing, scuba diving and snorkeling, ghost tours, shopping and so much more. Key West is approximately 7 miles wide and is away from the Peninsula of Florida. Key West has everything from Ernest Hemingway’s house to a naval air station, to Robert the Doll.
Key West is a major tourist attraction and has tons of people who come from all over the world to visit its beauty. Many of its bars and grills are featured on the travel channel and have some of the top ten beaches. Key West is sadly has the second highest rate for suicides which leads this little town to be haunted. You can find these places from what I mentioned earlier Robert the Doll, the old theatre, the morgue house, the old court house, and etc. They have ghost tours and I would recommend on going on one.
They also have many fun things to do in the water from water skiing and jet skiing in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea to parasailing. You can also scuba dive and go snorkeling in the reefs. They have many tropical fish and tons of museums on the island. Key West even has a yacht club and its own little airport for planes of course.
Believe it or not the island of the peninsula of Florida isn’t the last of the keys; it has many little islands called the Key Islands and has little special names for them.
Key West is also one of the wealthiest towns in America and is a place for people who retire. The bad part of it is it gets hit by lots of hurricanes that do come that way but the town is well prepared for it though. There are a lot of famous people who came from Key West to basketball players to baseball. Believe it or not Jimmy Buffet is also known to live there.
Key West is definitely amazing little island and I would recommend going there before you die or for any fun vacation where you want to just get away in paradise.

Part of the List

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 142px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SfsHlHXYS_I/AAAAAAAAADE/Bf4peiT6JeM/s200/neyo.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330862918136777714" />
Style of your hair
shape of you eyes and your nose
the way you stare, as if you see right through to my soul
To your left hand and the way that its not quite as big as your right.
The way u stand in the mirror before we go out at night.
Our quiet time
your beautiful mind

There all part of the list
things that I miss
Things like your funny little laugh, or the way you smile, or the way we kiss
What I notice is this
I come up with
something new every single time, that I sit and reminisce

The way your sweet smell, lingers when you leave a room.
Stories you tell, as we lay in bed, all afternoon
I dreamed you now every night, in my mind is where we meet
and when Im awake, staring at pictures of you asleep
touching your face
invading your space.

There all part of the list
things that I miss
Things like your funny little laugh, or the way you smile, or the way we kiss
What I notice is this
I come up with
something new every single time, that I sit and reminisce.

And you live in my memories for evermore, I swear (x2)

There all part of the list
things that I miss
Things like your funny little laugh, or the way you smile, or the way we kiss
What I notice is this
I come up with
something new every single time, that I sit and reminisce.

Aye hey hey
Woah woah woah

I think we can all agree that we all in our life time will have that someone who we always let get away and will miss. It is a theme park with many different roller coaster rides and attractions. It has 5 different "worlds" if you want to call it that in the park, "worlds" like: Seuss Landing, which has the theme of Dr. Seuss; The Lost Continent, which has a fairy tale theme of dragons, unicorns, and Poseidon; The Marvel Super Hero Island, which has Spiderman, x-men, Dr. Doom; Toon Lagoon, which features Popeye, Betty Boop, and etc. and last but not least is Jurassic Park, which of course is about dinosaurs.

Marvel Super Hero Island has rides like: The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman where it’s a 3D virtual roller coaster and you go in and battle all the bad guys. Doctor Doom’s Fearfall is where you will go 150 ft up in the air and drop. Storm Force Acceleration is where basically you’re in a tea cup thing and will spin around pretty fast. The last is the most amazing roller coaster of all time called The Incredible Hulk Coaster. This amazing roller coaster goes from 0 to 40 in 2 seconds with many turns and spins.

Toon Lagoon has fun rides too. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls is a fun water ride where YOU WILL GET SOAKED! Then there is Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges where you are going to get soaked then too :)

Jurassic Park River Adventure is a water ride and at the end you do a big drop before getting ate by a T-rex. Then we have Pteranodon Flyers where you go around flying in a hanger.

The Lost Continent has Poseidon’s Fury which is a little show that has much action through it and is definitely is something you need to see. The Flying Unicorn is a little miniature roller coaster that was made for little kids so they could go on them which is fun too if you ask me. Then they have another roller coaster called Dueling Dragons, this is a roller coaster between either choosing ice or fire with the dragons and basically its two roller coasters all in one.

Dr. Seuss Landing has The Cat in the Hat this ride is fun for all ages, but mainly this little section is made for littler ones.

I would definitely recommend going to this park it’s so fun and it never leaves anyone unsatisfied or leaving unhappy.

Robert the Doll

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 145px; height: 200px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SedJEOY7ruI/AAAAAAAAAC0/7S9OrECOz-U/s200/robert+the+doll.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325305421319876322" />
I will tell you a little bit about Robert the Doll. He is a 3 ft doll from head to toe and was given life like features and was also said to be a voo doo doll. He was given as a gift to Gene from his Jamaican nurse, now usually every kid has an imagination with everything and has an imaginary play mate. Gene’s parents usually heard him talking to Robert, but the weird thing is there was a voice that would answer back that wouldn’t be Gene’s voice. Mishaps started to happen and Gene’s answer would be “Robert did it.” Usually when the Otto’s were out of the house neighbors said they could see Robert run from window to window in the house and they said they could often hear Robert talk and giggle. At night Gene started to scream out in the night and when his parents would run to his room his furniture would be turned over and at the foot of Gene’s bed there would be Robert sitting there glaring. Eventually Gene’s parents put Robert up in the attic.
When Robert’s parents died they gave the house to Gene. Now all grown up Gene and his wife moved in to his childhood home. He was now an artist and felt him and his wife needed a more spacious house. It wasn’t long till Gene found Robert up in the attic and moved him down to the turret room. Gene’s wife did not like Robert one bit and felt an evil presence to the doll. One day when Gene was out of the house his wife moved Robert back up to the attic, when Gene came home to find Robert misplaced he got mad and said Robert needed a room to himself and moved Robert back to the turret room. The people of Key West always hated walking by the Otto home. Gene finally got tired of Robert’s antics and moved him back to the attic. Guest often heard things in the attic move around and hears giggling and all together stopped visiting. Gene died in 1972 and his wife sold the house leaving Robert in the attic. The rumors died down in Key West and a new family moved in. A little girl who was ten found Robert in the attic and added him to her toy collection. It wasn’t long before she started screaming in the night. They then donated him to the East Martello museum where you can now find Robert the Doll. People have had bad experiences with him there too. You never want to make fun of Robert, because things start to happen to you that are not good. You are always suppose to ask Robert to take his picture, and if your picture turns out black he didn’t want you to take his picture. Robert is a real thing and if you don’t believe me why don’t you visit him in Key Wet, Florida.

Savannah, Georgia

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/Sec-rhsFngI/AAAAAAAAACs/7aVeWaMf2CM/s200/pirates+house.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325294001887485442" />
Just these past weeks I came home from South Carolina. But on my trip there I was on the border of Georgia and got to go to Savannah, Georgia, which is one of the oldest cities in the United States. The city is awesome and set out in 26 squares. The oldest street there is River Street and it has many little shops and places to eat. Savannah has many of their old historical houses up and it’s really neat. They say it is also one of the most haunted cities in the U.S. and everywhere you step whether that be on the sidewalk street or on top of a floor board in a house people are buried under you. Savannah is also known for the introduction of voo doo in the U.S. back in the 18th century people brought slaves over from Africa and hence then they brought voo doo with them. Voo doo can be good and bad, when you look at all the older houses in Savannah you will see blue shutters. This is said to protect the people and house from evil spirits entering. The first people in to ever be in Savannah were Indians. They were about 7 to 8 feet tall and then here come settlers from England whose average height was about 5’8 except the leader who befriended the chief of the Indians and who helped him lay out and build Savannah. In one of the squares you will see a huge rock in the middle of it, the rock was dedicated to the chief and underneath he lays resting. In that same squares they use to have the gallows there and no moss grows there and if you look everywhere else moss is everywhere. The story is that someone was hung there and they were innocent well what happened is they cursed that place. From then on moss has never grew there even if the wind blows hard the moss will not come on that square but every other square has moss. Then there is the Pirate’s House, which is the coolest place ever. Pirates from the early time all lived there and in Savannah you can find tunnels all over the city from the pirates bootlegging alcohol, because back then the only alcohol they could drink was wine and beer. So the pirates would sneek in hard liquor, especially rum. Now the pirate’s house is suppose to be the most haunted place in Savannah and was actually featured on Ghost Hunters. I would advise going there it is fun and especially if you’re a history person Savannah would be your place to go.

Breaking Dawn

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 132px; height: 200px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SeSj56Q6_tI/AAAAAAAAACk/TOjd058h2ts/s200/breakingdwn2.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5324560874746871506" />
I just got done reading the fourth book in the Twilight series called Breaking Dawn. It was really good and exciting to read and I must say the best book I have read by far out of the whole series.
In the beginning of the book Bella and Edward get married and go off to an island that Carlisle bought for Esme and spend their honeymoon there. Well from there Bella and Edward consummate their marriage which leads to an uh o baby. From this baby Bella gets very sick because the baby is half vampire so therefore it’s basically going to kill her from feeding off her body. And just like that the honeymoon was over and they call Carlisle and come home.
Then the book switches over to Jacob Black’s point of view in the book. They hear about Bella and that she was going to produce a monstrous baby. So the pack came up with the idea that they had to kill the Cullens including Bella. Well by this Jacob didn’t want to do it for Bella’s sake. So he left the pack for good and Sam was not to happy about this. From there on Jacob went to warn the Cullens about their plan to attack them. He saw Bella and how sick and fragile she was, even though she wouldn’t let them take the baby out of her. From there on Jacob kept the look out for the pack to find that Leah and her little brother joined Jacob to protect Bella. During this time Bella is dying so the Cullens try to find a way to help her. They find that by her drinking blood that the baby seems to respond to that and take that away from her instead. Bella finally has her baby and when this happens Jacob instantly imprints on Renesmee.
The book then switches back to Bella’s point of view and she is finally a vampire and is exploring her views. A girl from the Volturi come to visit the Cullens and see Renesmee well she reports this back to the Volturi and they think they made a little child this way which is against the rules. From this they want to destroy the child and the Cullens. The Cullens then ban together to get as many vampires to stick up for them. When the Volturi finds out it was all a misunderstanding they kill the girl who reports this. And let the Cullens be in peace. This book is really outstanding and I would recommend you to read this.

A Haunting In Connecticut

The movie "A Haunting in Connecticut" is a scary movie and actually based on a true story and real events. The beginning of the story starts out with scary pictures that were placed in the 50’s and then it’ll flash back to something scary. So then right from the beginning you knew it had to do with scissors and being cut. Then it goes right in to a woman talking about why she didn’t know why those things happened to her when they moved in to the house.
Her son has cancer and they lived so far from the hospitals which he had to go there weekly to do treatments on him. The treatments make him really sick and driving back from the hospital was always a pain. So then they found a house that wasn’t far from the hospital. Instantly from the first night staying in the house Adam, the boy, had experiences and dreams about a little bit of what happened. After this they bought the house and moved their whole family in to the house. As days progressed on more and more things started happening. Adam wouldn’t tell anything that was happening because they said the treatment made him see things and they didn’t want Adam to get put away. The flashbacks that he would have would be people sitting around a table as if to conduct a ceremony and then it’ll flash back to a guy cutting bodies and their eyelids off.
While the mom and dad snooped around they found out their house use to a funeral home. One day in the movie the kids were playing hid and seek well we know how that turned out some kids saw something and the little girl hid upstairs and fell through the floor. When everyone came up there to pull her out the found photos and a box inside the box was another little box with weird things in them. From then on they went and tried to find research out about the house. They learned there was a boy that lived there in the funeral home with the older man who owned it. He was a medium and always performed a ceremony for families whose loved ones passed away. But some bad things happened and they let something bad out. They also found out that in the cemetery a lot of bodies went missing. When Adam went in for a treatment he meant a revenuer who told him the reason why they can see the dead is because they are closer to death and unhealthy. At the end of the stories he finds out the bodies that were stolen were cursed to be awake forever because the small things in the box were eyelids and w/ out their eyelids they see forever. So Adam had to burn the house down to make them go to sleep.

Chris Brown and Rihanna Case

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 160px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/Sd4J9vLE94I/AAAAAAAAACU/G9kfPkxVmbM/s200/rihanna+bad.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322702765838104450" />
America’s biggest sweetheart and rising star attacked??? The shocker is by her boyfriend, who captured America’s teen’s hearts, Chris Brown. Rihanna is born in Barbados and started in the music industry in 2005 signing on with Def Jam Records and under the protection of music producer and recorder, Jay-Z. Her first album to be recorded is “Music of the Sun.” And she is the first Barbadian woman to ever receive a Grammy Award. Following her album “A Girl like Me” in 2006, “A Good Girl Gone Bad” in 2007-2009, and now she is working on her fourth album “Dark Angels” which will be introduced sometime in 2009. There’s no doubt Rihanna is the next big star.
Chris Brown captures a lot of the teen’s hearts in America. He started out getting recognized only at age 16 (now 19) and he left school to start with his music. His first album was released in 2005 with the hits like “Run it!” and “Excuse me Miss.” And in 2008 released another album.

The scary thing is we would have never pictured it to be like this. Just hours before the Grammy Awards the police got a call from a woman on alleged assault against her. When they got there they were shocked to find out it was the talented singer, Rihanna. She said her boyfriend, Chris Brown, and her got into a major fight which led to a brawl and when she called he left. There are a few reasons to why this happened, one was to be linked that he was mad because she gave him a STD and the other was because Chris was having an affair. Whatever it was it caused a lot of controversy considering Chris once sat down with Tyra Banks and confessed that he would never lay a hand on a girl because his mother was a victim of abuse. Doublemint gum dropped his commercial just right after the allegations of the assault and his record label thought about it. Chris and Rihanna split apart for a while but now they are said to be back together and living in P Diddy’s house right now. A lot of people supported Rihanna and told her not to go back to him and also they said that it would ruin her image. For now they are on the down low til Chris Brown’s court date. For now we’ll just have to see what happens.

Gay Marriage in Iowa?

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SeSYujbi3fI/AAAAAAAAACc/MlcmKZyzIKk/s200/apg_gay_marriage_070614_ms.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5324548585010945522" />
Some people are for gay marriage and some just can’t plain out stand gay marriage. My outlook on this is what is really the big deal about all this? They say some people are just born to love the same sex. I say as long as you’re happy then what really is the huge deal about it? I try to look at it from their side and see that why is it ok for people to be in love with the opposite sex and get married, but not their own sex. Yes it says in the bible that gay marriage is not accepted, but then again God plans everything for a reason. So if that’s the case why do people like the same sex? Recently as of April 24, 2009 gay marriage was allowed in the state of Iowa. The ban first happened in 1998 when Hawaii first came up with this “issue”. On April 3, 2009 the issue came up again in Iowa over a ruling and it was finally Ok’d on April 24. Same sex marriage is legal in Massachusetts, Iowa, and Connecticut. A lot of people are already trying to change this happening for Iowa for a lot are not happy with it. Which I still don’t understand what the big problem is? When scientist went to study this subject they used twins. It was hard thought because twins only share 50% of their genes.

What is Life Like After High School?

Most high schoolers are scared of what happens after college? Most things that run threw their minds are Will I be Successful, What's going to happen to me, What do I want to do with my life, will I ever get a job or career started, and etc.? Most people are really scared to grow up and for instance I am one of them. Life is scary when you never know what is going to happen or where it is going to take you. The feeling of a senior about to graduate and have a good summer is so exciting. All the high school home work is done and all the filling out scholarships and hoping to get in to a college is so exhausting that you just want it to be all over. But what happens when it gets closer to you going to college. What will happen... we see people fail and some succeed... but which category will you be in? Most kids also move out from their homes and want to live on their own. Most have to take on the responsibility of having to have a full time job and taking college classes. Lets also face it you cannot get any good income with out a degree now a days and time is only getting harder. It seems like kids are being forced in to college or they wont have a promising future. And don’t get me on the “I don’t have any money” issue. That’s one thing that makes me so angry there are tons of ways to get money from federal aid to grants to scholarships. Most of the time the government will pay for you if you have absolutely nothing! I believe all kids should go to college, especially if you have that opportunity too. Most kids don’t have that opportunity in 3rd world countries to go to college or even that but school. Most kids would love that chance to do it and people over here in America take everything for granted. Kids skip out in school and just plain out don’t put effort in to it. That’s why living life and going to college is so important not only to better your lives, but think about us as a whole in a nation. The more people we have the more people can help each other and make their lives easy. Go to college and don’t be scared for everyone goes through it and it always turns out good if you allow it.

VH1's Love Shows

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 200px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SbkgKlcHDcI/AAAAAAAAACM/ttY8yPjkpaA/s200/untitled.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312312601681006018" />
With all the VH1's shows with Rock of Love Bus Tour, For the Love of Ray-J, I Love New York, Flavor of Love, and so so so so much more shows it honestly is impossible to find love on a show. I don't think I have not seen one of those shows not have a sequel, because it is impossible to find love on a show. I have to admit though all the drama that goes on with the shows is hilarious. The thing on all of these is to find love at your own pace and what seriously is the rush. I wouldn't want to expose myself in that type of manner, because it just won’t happen. When you have go on those shows you first have a timed date on to get to know everyone which love takes time if it's true. Second its television how do you not know if people are there for the publicity or if they're true. I’ll go through and explain all of these shows Rock of Love Bus Tour is about Bret Michaels the rocker from Poison who has 15 different rocker chicks and they travel like on a tour but at the same time they are all trying to find love. For The Love of Ray-J is about a famous singer, song writer, and actor trying to find love. This takes place at his house though and trust me there’s a whole lot of drama. I Love New York is a crazy black woman named Tiffany. She actually started out on Flavor of Love with Flavor Flav’s show. She was so dramatic and in the end got eliminated after being brought back after the first elimination. And now you can only guess what The Flavor of Love is and it’s this crazy guy who wears a clock around his neck and was trying to find a woman to love. The catch with these shows is there has been so many series of them, because you CANNOT find love on a show. So that’s why for me personally I think these shows are so funny and for entertainment. Now if this was the bachelor I could understand, because at least that is real except for this last season where Jason picked Melissa and then found out he really didn’t like her and ended up dumping her and going for the other girl. So reality shows fake or fact?

Twilight Book Series

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 135px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SZ7QRWodPuI/AAAAAAAAACE/uxOGbjSsGwc/s200/twilight-movie-poster.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5304906407640645346" />
you might have already heard about the big movie that came out about the movie Twilight which is the first book out of the series. There are currently four books Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. There are roomers around that there will be more and hopefully that is true.

Twilight- The first book is about a girl named Bella who moves from Arizona living with her mom to a little town in Washington where it always rains called Forks. There Bella gets along with all her new class mates and is the talk of the town. she meets Edward there. Edward is different- he doesn't like the sun, his eyes change color, and he never eats food. Bella becomes fascinated with him when she was almost squashed by a van and out of no where Edward comes and stops it. As she does research and tries to figure Edward out she finds out he is a vampire. The story then goes in to a lot of details and they fall in love with each other and have to battle James (another vampire) and his covenant. In thee end Edward wins.

New Moon- This book is about Bella and her struggle with out Edward. In the beginning of the book Edward portrays to Bella that he doesn't love her anymore and is moving away with his family to start yet again another life. He does this to protect her from any harm because it is dangerous having a human be around a vampire. Bella goes in to a deep state of depression when he leaves. Through the whole book she starts becoming closer with Jacob Black her best friend that is from the Quilete Tribe. Jacob starts acting funny around Bella and later we find out he's a wolf. Later in the book Bella goes cliff diving which nearly kills her. Alice, Edward's sister, sees Bella doing this and thought she died. Edward then decided to go to the Volturi to kill himself. Alice and Bella leave for Italy to save Edward which they do. The Volturi of course didn't lie the fact that Bella was a human and knew everything about vampires so they gave her an amount of time to turn in to a vampire or they would kill her.

Eclipse- This book is about Edward being home and Bella and his last year of high school. Through out the book we have to deal with Bella trying to be a vampire already. What happens is Victoria Jame's lover who is also a vampire trys to get an army of newborns to kill Edward's family and Bella since they killed James.

Breaking Dawn- Bella and Edward finally get married. They go on their honeymoon and there Bella gets pregnant. They have a baby and she is half human half Vampire. Bella finally gets turned in to a vampire and has stuff to overcome. We find out that Jacob isn't really a wolf but what is called a shift shaper.

The Octamom

Recently there’s a woman who had eight babies all at the SAME time. Can you say OW! Lately the media has been very mad at her, because it all seems like a happy family. What we all didn’t know was she is a single mom with previously 6 kids ALL under the age of 10 now adding the octuplets. Nadya Suleman is the proud mother’s name, but the thing is why is it anyone else business what she does. Right now with how the economy is going yes it’s very irresponsible. Nadya was an only child when she was younger and always dreamed about having a bigger family. Nadya got married at a young age and expecting to start her big family she always wanted. Nadya found only out then she was reproductively challenged and only on sex alone she couldn’t produce and embryo. She said for years she tried to find every possible thing around. Her husband and she got a divorce knowing she didn’t want a husband just kids. Nadya found out the only way she could have kids was in vitro fertilization. The only thing is that can be very expensive so to save up money Nadya worked as a nurse in the psych ward. During this working something happened, a riot broke out and Nadya was going to help and she was flipped over the table which caused back problems which led to her not working. When she was not working she received disability money and by that time Nadya had enough money saved up to start her process. She went and was successful with her pregnancy having a boy, a boy, a girl, a boy and a set of twins all in a short amount of time. The person who gave her the sperm was her previous husband because she didn’t want to go to the sperm bank. She before made sure he couldn’t have any say in anything the kids did. Nadya has only a short amount of time before she can’t do in vitro anymore. She had eggs left over so she decided to use all of them and the ones that didn’t make it were ok and she was done. Well she got a lot out of it then she bargained for. She now has eight babies which was a dangerous process and could have come with many complications. All the babies are around 2 to 3 lbs. and face many problems that could happen now or in the future one of those problems could be cerebral palsy. She already has a kid with autism that she previously had named Elijah and two that have slow speech or delayed speech. She receives money from all for disability but the two will stop at some time. Nadya right now has no income coming in and faces difficulties. Her mother takes care of the 6 kids right now. The question is the media is picking on her so much and why? It wouldn’t be different for someone with that big of family that had a dad. It’s just another thing the world decides to prey on.

My Blog Again

My blog has kind of changed in a way that I look more on the views of women and the past. Things going on with the world people are choosing to pick on a certain sex which is women, and this makes me angry considering I’m a girl. History is another thing that always fascinates me. You can always get a lot out of history and it always never fails with facts and can go on and on with a lot of things. History is so mysterious and I think that’s another thing that draws people in. The thing about with women is there’s a lot of history with women in it to. I think the problem with our blog assignments is we’re so limited to what we can type in a way. Meaning it takes a lot longer to write something because of research that we have to look up. Some people don’t have that time for instance I’m going to write something write now that we’re not suppose to meaning me. I can’t always get to a computer because at home two of my computers broke down and the one that I am using right now is slow and not up-to-date. Another problem is I work literally every single night so that’s hard to do and keep up with my blogs because you have to research it and it takes forever especially when your time is limited. But if you were to ask me a lot of my blogs talk about women and history, but don’t get me wrong my blog is still very random and talks about basically anything that comes to my mind. I think it’s good what my blogs talk about. It talks about the current news today and in a way gives a voice to what ever the view it is. My blog would basically give the information about the topics and in a way express a different voice that would be me, but I don’t use I or me so in a way it’s disguising. Mu hahaahahaha so yah if you wanted to know you can read this and it basically gives you an in look to what you want to know. So if you like history and views on critical issues this would be your blog to read. I warn you keep an open mind when you read this, because in a way its opinion slash facts and it might offend someone if you don’t have the same views.

Tattoos & Piercings

Tattoos are an awesome thing and such a work of art. People always wonder why others get tattoos and piercings, it's just a way to express oneself or make someone who they are. There are all sorts of tattoos and different varieties of piercings to get.

Piercings

In ancient times it is said that people pierced their ears to ward off evil spirits. There have been records dating back to the Egyptians times with ear piercings. During the 1920’s – 1960’s in North America, Australia, and Europe it was rare. Eventually it started spreading but it was in the gays, punk, and hippies.

Tongue- This piercing started with the Aztec and Mayan civilization. This was done to honor the gods and this was also a part of their offerings. The tongue is one of the fastest healing body parts. It’s often pierced with a straight barbell for comfort.

Lips- This started with in the Pre-Columbian culture in South America. It’s now mostly practiced in African Tribes.

Ears- This piercing dates back to the Ancient Persian time. During the early 1920's it became popular then fell and clip on earrings became the new favor. With this only sailors that traveled around the world got their left ear pierced. In the 1970's ear piercing became popular among teenage girls who actually held piercing parties.

Nose- The nose is one of the most common things to be pierced right after the ear. Nose piercing started in India; it supposedly was to make childbirth easier. For this spot to be pierced was also a mark of beauty and social standing, it was also an honor to Hindu’s Parvathi, the goddess of marriage.

Belly Button- This first hit the culture when model, Christy Turlington, showed this piercing at a fashion show in London. From then on celebrities like Britney Spears and Alicia Silverstone got one and it was a huge outbreak of getting the belly button pierced.

Tattoos

History- Tattooing has been a practice since the Neolithic Times. Otzi the iceman daring back to the fourth or fifth BCE was found with dots on his back and ankles. Ancient mummies have been found with tattoos on their bodies.

Why- Some cultures gets tattoos for believes or for their spiritual beliefs. Some people get it for their magical beliefs. During the holocaust Jews got tattoos on their wrist for identification purposes. Between the Mauri and Europeans they used it just incase they found a body they could identify who it was. They are used for fashion now more a days. Tattoos are also used for medicated purposes too.

VH1's the Tool Academy

This show is about men who think they are all that and can get any girl they want and treat any girl they want..... but get this they have girlfriends. The men think they are going to a show where they can party and meet as many girls as they want. What they don't know is it's all a scam. This show is about men that are players and their women who want them to change and be there for them. While the men are there they don't know their girlfriends are there waiting for them. This show is about these men and women trying to change their relationships for the better. They have to all open up, stop the cheating, stop the controlling, and basically stop everything that has gone wrong with their relationship. They have challenges everyday that they go through with their girlfriends to see how much they can work together and be compatible to find who they really need to be to make their relationships work. At the end of the show the couple who is the last one standing will not only be a stronger couple, but they will also win money. Of course this show though is not for the money it's to teach couples how to open up and be honest with someone. It's about change and change for the better. This will not only better their relationships with the girlfriends, they will better their relationships with their friends and family. Some of the things that go on in this series of shows are outstanding. Its funny some men think they are cute and they think they can do what ever they think they want to and treat their girlfriends anyway that they would like to. This show has fights, crying, and lots of entertaining drama. I would recommend watching this reality TV show. It’s definitely different from a lot of the VH1 shows that you normally see. By watching this show it also educates you in a way that you know how to work on a relationship if it’s going bad in your life. It also teaches what signs to look out for when you see a guy to find out if they’re a player or for real. There are a lot of turns and shocking secrets that you find out from the men in this show that make you want to keep watching it. VH1’s Tool Academy is definitely a good show and hopefully after this season they will have another one. It’s definitely entertaining to watch!

Tilted Kilt

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 137px; height: 91px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SYePahYW2JI/AAAAAAAAAB8/yBylesh6XW0/s200/images.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298361172424579218" />
There’s a new restaurant that just opened in Cedar Rapids, Iowa called the Tilted Kilt. It’s a sport’s pub with many TV’s, a bar, and great food, not to mention the food. The pub is an Irish style with a sense of funny humor of making fun of it. The food is really great and they have their own Irish twist to it. They are the only pub with the best TVs and not to mention a lot of them. Every guests is treated like they’re at home and they’re family. There’s only 14 total Tilted Kilts in America and one and only in Iowa, which is an honor. The girls are fun and dressed in small attire. These girls are not like any other girls how ever they have to have spunk and an outgoing personality. Not to mention they are gorgeous! Tilted Kilt is a lot like Hooters but better. They have shirts and calendars that they have photo shoots for and every girl that works there has a chance to be in. The first Tilted Kilt that opened was in Las Vegas at the Rio Hotel and Casinos in 2003. The idea was made up by Mark DiMartino who pitched his idea to Harrahs. They got there restaurant going and when it opened a Franchise walked in known as Ron Lynch, who then decided to make a company out of Tilted Kilt where then they got their slogan “A Cold Beer Never Looked So Good”. You can find the Tilted Kilt in Arizona, Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas with a total of 14 restaurants. The Tilted Kilt has a total of 34 draught beers and 12 bottled beers. They have every type of liquor and a great comfortable restaurant. When you first walk in you are immediately greeted by beautiful women and a great staff who does anything to make the guests feel great. The Tilted Kilt is an awesome environment to come in and sit down to enjoy a meal and have a cold beer while watching your favorite sports or sport. Come on in to the new and most advanced restaurant which never will let you down. Come in and stay as long as you would like and don’t worry about how much time you want to spend in there, because you’re always welcomed anytime. What really hurts the most is when you think someone is your friend and they go and say things behind your back. Is it jealousy, insecurity, or plain up just nasty and cruel? All of those things are what it is. People that can’t come up and say it to your face are cowards. If you have nothing nice to say just don’t say it at all. Another thing, people who attack other people for their race, religion, JOB, or etc. does that make them feel good by hurting others? What is also funny is when people try to drag other people in to the digression…. Is it because they know they are in the wrong and they need someone else there to tell them it is ok for them to do that to someone. People who do these things are wrong and way too immature. When these things happen it just shows who the true people are and who the fake are. People who tend to do this have insecurities in their life or have something going wrong so in tend to have them feel better they need to drag others down with them. What is also funny is when you talk to the person and you think that everything is settled and come to find out you hear more things behind your back. My question is how does it go till it’s too far? Things can get so out of hand that it can go as far as harassment, which is a really bad way to go. Insecure people tend to be hurt sometime in life. They tend to lack self confidence and have a lot of emotions. They are touchy about situations and offended easily. They usually ask for a second opinion on everything and are scared to do things because of what other people may think of them. Jealousy has to do with insecurity, but they resolve in negative thoughts about someone or something. People who have a jealousy tend to have a lot of anger, sadness, hatred, and etc. in them. This is experienced in every culture. Why people feel jealousy is that it leads back to insecurity. My thing is people say they are not jealous or insecure, well then what is it? People who do it out of amusement are cruel. No matter how many times they aren’t insecure, it is like that. People need to be comfortable with themselves before they can make other people happy.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://sdolly.blogspot.com/2009/02/love-friendship-backstabbers.html' title='Love, Friendship..... The Unborn is about this girl Casey who is in college, has good friends, and a boyfriend. Her mother died and she lives with her father. Casey keeps having these dreams. She dreams of her jogging or in some place and she sees this little glove following the glove she sees this dog with an upside down head with a mask on! The dog disappear into the woods, she then follows the dog and finds the mask laying in the leaves. She goes to pick up the mask to find a fetus under it and she wakes up. The movie then shows how normal her life is. Later that night she babysits for her neighbors when she hears the little boy she's babysitting talk to the baby over the baby monitor. She goes up to investigate and he says something like "Gumby wants to be born now." and he hits her in the head with the mirror which hits her eye. The next day as it progresses on her best friend notices her eye is half blue and half brown. Later that day she goes to the eye doctor which then explains that sometimes when they have that fuction with their eye is means she has a twin. Casey talks to her dad who then confesses she had a twin who died in the womb because her imbiblical choked him. This is why her mom went crazy and was admitted in to the hospital and died there. As all this is unraveling she stills keeps having dreams, but now in the dreams there's a little boy in it, Gumby, her unborn twin. Casey goes to this woman who thinks could help. The woman tells her that this is really dangerous and what is haunting her is called a debook. The Debook will try to isolate you to kill you and anyone who tries to help her will die. The debook will travel from person to person til it kills the person it wants. Later in the movie she contacts a Rabi who she wants to conduct an exorcism on her and it goes from there. The movie is a good movie if you like to get scared and freaked out. It's not no nominee award but it's good!

America's Discrimination?

~The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart~ Hellen Keller

CELULITE SALLY is one thing people don't want to be labeled as. If you notice women these days ARE pressured more into looking a certain way then men are. Women have to be looking pretty, hair all nice, there bodies toned, skinny, have to have the fashion, and basically look like a million dollars. If women don't look a certain way then they are basically called ugly or trash. My question is why does scociety put so much pressure on women.

Jessica Simpson right now is taking the heat for putting on a few pounds. CNN, Entertainment, and etc. have been bashing her with her image now and what she looks like from the old Jessica. Scociety is so funny the economy is going down wayyyyyyy fast and people are losing so many jobs, but yet again people are worrying about her weight? This was a comment made by a person who put their input about Jessica's Simpsons weight "Those of you who think she looks healthy are idiots. She's fat and you tellling everyone to leave her alone and that she's beautiful are ruining this society. Thirty years ago people were thin and healthy because they were active and they ate vegitables. Look at people in other countries, they would say Jessica is fat. FYI--she's at an effing chilli cookoff! What? Did she snork down all the chili." This comment just shocks me. So by being "fat" (obviously this person doesn't know what fat is) it ruins our scociety? Come on get real....

This stress on women also puts things into little girl's minds. I've heard of girls who cry all the time because they want to fit in in any way they can. Most people not only change their looks but also change how they act. Scociety has put so much pressure on how woman should look and act. These things affect little girls and let alone women in general. If you really look at it it's like being sexist. In the news you will once in a blue moon here about celebrity men being "fat", but let me tell you when a celebrity women is seen looking a little overweight it's front page news.

Scociety definately looks at women more than men. I wish and hope that things will turn around for women. The movie is a really dramatic and intense. You have to pay attention to the movie though or you will get lost... Will Smith plays the leading role in the movie. The plot of the story is you start out seeing a man in the movie. He's really distrote and on the verge of committing suicide. Anyways Will Smith, whose name is Ben Thomas in the movie, life is really hectic. He is obsessed with 7 people who died in a car crash well the car crash was because of him. Through out the movie he has flash backs up to that night where it happened and a girl, his fiancée. Through the movie he helps out people who have been neglected or who have health conditions. One of the people who have the health condition is a girl with a heart problem. Her heart gives out a lot and she is type 2 for the hospital meaning that she always goes to the hospital, but can leave when feeling better. It also means she's not bad enough to have a heart transplant. One day her heart gives out and she's taken to the hospital only to find out she now needs a heart transplant and she is now on a waiting list for it. The only problem with that is she now has 6 weeks maximum to live and she has a rare blood type so she has 6% chance to get a donor. Will Smith throughout the movie befriends and falls in love with her. Also through out the movie he's an IRS agent and he visits people with problems. Mostly to the end when he makes the call to the police saying he's going to commit suicide it flash backs to the crash. He and his fiancé were in a car driving and a van was coming the other way. Will Smith was districted by his phone and swerved in to the other lane and collided with the van. Everyone except him dies. He felt guilty so he killed himself. But with that he donated his heart to the woman he loved and she lived. He also donated other body parts to the people he met through out the movie. This is a very good and touching movie. It got a lot of great reviews and I definitely think Will Smith is one of thee best and talented actors alive.

Men vs. Women

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 132px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SW59uDlbSLI/AAAAAAAAABc/uOt6LgKfXmc/s200/mirror-image-perceptions.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5291304842396649650" />
MEN and women are way different from each other. You can read many books about this, for example, one book is called, “Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars.” You can also tell men are different from women with out reading this book just by well how we act. Men and women NEVER think the same things. Here are some things men and women do differently….. Ok a lot of things. Do you notice how men have like 8 or less things in a bathroom where as women have like over 300 things. Men really don’t give a crap where as women like to pamper themselves and make themselves look beautiful. When women are fighting, I’m sorry ladies but we ALWAYS have to have the last word in there. When a guy puts the last word in it’s just a new argument to fight about. Women call their friends by their names, men however always have a nickname for their friends and they’re outrageous ones. ALL women worry about this, getting married and having kids. I’m sorry ladies but this kind of stuff scares men! They hate thinking about these things; they like to not worry about these things meaning the future till they get a wife. Men think they need to be successful by making more than his wife and women like to find men that do! Haha GOLD DIGGERS! When a man marries a woman he expects she won’t change which they do and women thee exact opposite when they marry a man they expect they will change but they don’t. EVERY SINGLE woman does this; they will dress up for everything, even if it’s to go to the store for 5 minutes. Men could care less how they look. This one is funny men will go to bed and wake up the same well women are a different story. Women are prepared for everything; Men go with the flow. Women DO mature faster then men. We are done with puberty by the age of 17 where as men are done by early 20s. I’m sorry but it’s a fact. Women have garages to put their cars in there; Men you use garages to put EVERYTHING in it. Men hate asking for anything and are stubborn for example. If a female was driving and lost they will pull over to ask directions. Males however will drive around in circles instead of stopping to ask for directions… seriously, come on! Same as this, Women will admit to making mistakes and say sorry men…. Haha hate to admit they were wrong! Laundry a man will wait to do laundry till they’re out of clothes; Women do it every two days. As you can see women and men…. Yes VERY different. Which is why were always bumping heads. But you know what they say can’t live with them and you cant live with out them.

Bride Wars

The movie Bride Wars was definitely cute! There’s no way it will end up with a nominee, but definitely a cute movie with a good moral. The movie is about two best friends that have been friends since they were little girls. They do everything together and dress like one another. When they were little girls they had a reunion at the Plaza, which in the movie is this extravagant place, and they see a wedding there. Well from then on from seeing the wedding they always dreamed of getting married at the Plaza. Then the movie fast forwards to present day where they’re all grown up and living their lives. The actors in it are Kate Hudson who is a lawyer and Anne Hathaway who is a teacher. Kate Hudson’s character come off really strong, bossy, and goes exactly for what she wants. Anne Hathaway is more of the push over, kind, and caring friend. Well just like you could have predicted in the movie the two best friends get engaged at the same time. Therefore they go to the best wedding coordinator in the city. They of course plan there weddings at the Plaza in the month of June, but different dates. There were only three dates in the month of June for a wedding there were two for June 6 and one for June 27. Well Kate Hudson took the 6th and Anne Hathaway’s character took the 27th. Well of course there’s always a problem to the movie and the wedding coordinator accidentally planned the dates for June 6th for both of them. They couldn’t switch dates either because another bride already took the 27th. So, in the movie basically the friends turn against each other because one of them didn’t change their wedding date. It’s a really funny and cute story. At the end the friends make up and realize a good moral. The moral is sometimes there are stronger bonds in the world. As a bond first happens it grows more and more everyday. And sometimes that bond is hard to break even when things hit the fan. I would recommend seeing Bride Wars with a best friend or someone special, because it’s very cute and a chick flick movie. The movie overall I thought Anne and Kate did a really great job and really shows the importance of how women find things really important.

Walk Away

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 158px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SWbYdTnYEYI/AAAAAAAAABU/anW3--nE2fQ/s200/christina_aguilera.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289152810386461058" />

What do you do when you know something's bad for you
And you still can't let go? Aguilera is very talented and forever I know will be remembered!

Loved Ones Gone <3

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 166px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5k8KaAI7K08/SWbRzflY00I/AAAAAAAAABM/QmZrlO3HLRQ/s200/twintowers.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289145494975075138" />
This war that we have right now in Iraq and where ever were fighting now is outrageous. I call this the "Bush War" because this whole thing is sooooooo freakin stupid like I don't even know what were fighting about. So having loved ones over there is kind of an inconvienience with all this stuff. They're gone for the holidays and it's really upsetting. This is really emotionally damaging too, like ya there's hardly anything goin on. But for the fact that this is called "war" is well you know scary. What's also scary is all the unexpected bombing in the most unexpected place and what so ever. This all started with that one day on September 11, 2001. What happened that day at the twin towers was a blow to the head for America. I remember I was in 5 grade and on that day alot of kids were talking about it. I knew as the day went on, however, it was scaring me. I didnt even know what the hell the Twin Towers were, but I knew it had to be big. My teacher's faces I wont forget. They knew they had to keep their composure, but you can tell by just staring at them in the eyes they were scared to hell by this. Many people lost their family members and it attacked American Pride to the core. At first everyone thought it was a commercial airline that the tower, but when everybody found out it was ana ct against terrorism everyone lost their damn minds. I sit here and think if it wasnt terrorism would people have been as devastated? Now 8 years has gone passed and were still in this same stupid situation. Things have got better over in the Middle East and everyone knows where we are in this. So my question is when is enough, enough??? How long do they need us over there and how long before our loved ones can come home to us. Come home to where they belong safe and sound with people that love them. Come home, please.....

What My Blog is About

Blogs are suppose to be about things that people type about. Some are on topics of the world, their heritage, issues, and etc. My blogs are about things that come to my mind and mostly on world issues or basic issues on current issues happening now. Some I catch up on like drinking and basic statistic things. Sometimes it is so hard to figure out what I'm suppose to type like ideas and topics. Were not suppose to type about ourselves and therefore it's always so hard to keep up on my blogs with school and work. So most of the time I never turn in ALL of my blogs and it's frustrating! Blogs are kind of like my own personal diary and I feel like I cant type to my full expectations with this whole not type about yourself. But I like to write about songs, ghost because that's interesting to me, things I find interesting or outrageous, and etc. It's kind of hard to write right now about what my blogs are about because it's all sooooo random and out of place or as I should say my mind is a little bizarre. Sometimes I type to just get it done so it can be really hard to know what to type about ecspecially if your not always keeping up with the news or just don't know about the topic your typing about so it takes alot longer than of course something you know to type about. But this is basically what my blog consumes of and Hopefully i'll be able to live through this quarter by typing all of the blogs required. I can give you a tip on coming up with things to type. Here's what you do 1.Get a piece of paper and write down all the things that come to your mind. 2.start looking at the tinjgs on there that are interesting and of course 3. . mark down the blogs that you think would be interesting. The key is to mark the blogs that you know about so it goes alot faster. But I wanted to write about what to expect or look for in my blogs. Maybe I'll come up with different topics to type about but with my mind it probly wont happen.

Iris

Greatest Song Ever: Iris

And I'd give up forever to touch you,
Cause I know that you feel the same somehow.
You're the closest heaven that I'll ever be,
And I don't want to go home right now.

And all I can taste is this moment,
And all I can breathe is your life,
And sooner or later it's over,
I just don't want to miss you tonight.

And I don't want the world to see me,
Cause I don't think that they'd understand.
When everything's made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming,
Or the moment of the truth in your lies.
When everything feels like the movies,
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive.

And I don't want the world to see me,
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand.
When everything's made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And I don't want the world to see me,
Cause I don't think that they'd understand.
When everything's made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And I don't want the world to see me,
Cause I don't think that they'd understand.
When everything's made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.
I just want you to know who I am.
I just want you to know who I am.
I just want you to know who I am.

I have to say this is one of the greatest songs of the 90's era. The Goo Goo Dolls made this song for the film "City of Angels" featuring Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage as an angel. Iris was the longest number one chartings on Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. The song got it’s name by John Rezenik (guitar/vocalist) when he found Iris DeMent (American Song writer). Not that romantic as the song is of course. Iris spent 31 weeks on Irelands hits and at the 41st Grammy Awards Iris received nominations for “Record of the Year” and “Pop Performance by a Duo or Group.” This song was written from Nicolas Cage’s character view from the movie. If you really listen to the lyrics you can hear some of it means meanings from the movie. For example “And I’d give up forever to touch you” in the movie Nicolas Cage can’t touch her, because he’s an angel and hear it means he’d give up being an angel just to live a short mortal life with her (Meg Ryan). There’s no doubt Iris was one of the greatest songs of the 90’s.

BOO!

Did you know there are different types of ghost? There are such things called anomalies, shadow people, apparitions, and etc.
SHADOW PEOPLE- are also called apparitions. Shadow people and ghost, however, are two different things. I will explain about the ghost later, but I had to point that out. They usually look like a shadow obviously hence the name “shadow people”, but it is distinct that “it” takes the shape of a person. They however don’t look like they wear modern day clothing, but cloak like features. They can have eyes and they are usually red (which is really scary). They way they move are supposedly really fast or jolty. Some people report it as dancing from wall to wall. They say these “things” are created by people with their stress, trauma, and etc. Another belief is they are created by a dimension that sometimes overlaps with our so we can see them. The third belief is that they are connected with UFO’s or gray aliens. A little far fetched huh? They’re not dangerous at all and they can appear in orbs which are little balls of light.
GHOST- is an apparition of a person similar to what they look like. They are usually in a place where they died, places where they have their belongings, or somewhere significant to them. A ghost can make noises; have an odor, apparition, and etc. They usually don’t know they are dead, because they die under traumatic conditions or highly emotional.
POLTERGEIST- is a demonic spirit or ghost that manifests itself by moving objects, making noise, assaulting people and animals, or all of those. They can move objects and ruin them, can interfere with telephone lines and electrical equipment, turning lights on and off, they can hit, kick, punch, and bit someone, and they can go as far as to sexually assaulting someone. Poltergeist activity starts on and off and can last over to several days to several months, even sometimes years. This usually happens when someone is around. This person is called an “agent”. People that usually have stress, schizophrenia, emotional stress, and etc.
HAUNTINGS- is a recording of the past on an environment like war or a house. These are played over and over and are always the same. They say the presence of a person can trigger this, but don’t get this word mistaken for people interacting with ghosts. We don’t know why this happens, but we think it happens because of an emotional or traumatic death.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium

HAUNTED HOSPITAL is the last thing you probably would want to visit. The Waverly Hills Sanatorium was a hospital that opened in 1926 because of the white death other wise known as tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a virus that travels by air and you get it in your lungs. If you have tuberculosis it basically attacked your lungs and would eat them away. The white death was a huge outbreak in the early 19th century and back in those times if you got it you were going to die. If you got it within 24 hours if you didn't turn yourself into Waverly Hills they would come and get you. There were many deaths in the hospital and patients knew that they were going to die. They didn't have a cure back then for it, so they went to as far as putting sand bags on people’s chest to try to solve it and sometimes even bloodier procedures like: deflating a portion of a lung, remove 2 to 3 ribs at a time so lung could expand, and the pneumthorax method . The hospital had lots of windows that they would set the patients by; they thought the sun and fresh air was good. Waverly Hills Sanatorium was closed in 1982 because of budgets. There is an estimate about 63,000 deaths in total, even though it was the most advanced hospital back then. Just because the hospital is closed doesn't mean there's life that doesn't still linger. There is another life than the human world. Waverly Hills Sanatorium has been on shows like "Ghost Hunters", "Most Haunted", "Scariest Places on Earth", and "Most Terrifying Places in America". The sanatorium has unexplained shadows, footsteps, doors that open, children laughing, screams, and etc. If you go there you can encounter with a little boy named Timmy. Timmy was a boy that was diagnosed with tuberculosis and was admitted in to the children's wing of the hospital. Timmy likes to interact with playing hide and seek and playing with balls such as rolling it back to you. In the same wing there have been reports of a woman with her wrists chained and bleeding as she is crying for help. There have been reports of a hearse outside of the hospital which leads to the story of the tunnel. When people died in the hospital they would throw them down a chute that lead in to a tunnel. This was so the patients at the time wouldn’t get discouraged. The tunnel was before used for the delivery of foods and needs. In the tunnel would encounter such things as “shadow people”, voices, screams, and unexplained footsteps. In the hospital there is a room that has a very sad story. Room 502 was one of the nurses head quarters. In 1928, the head nurse was only 29 years old and developed tuberculosis. Not only that she was pregnant and not married; seeing no other way out she hung herself. Now you can hear her crying. In 1932, in the same room another nurse jumped out of the window plummeting to her death and no one seemed to know why. On the third floor there is a little girl named “Mary” that plays with a leather ball and says disturbing things about “I have no eyes.” In the kitchen you can experience a man with a white coat on and pants. They say he’s an old employee of the Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Mostly about every floor is “haunted.” Fact or fiction, one thing is for sure I never want to know.

Room 502.

The Hydrogen Car

SO IT IS TOLD…. the way the economy is going one of the big American dealers is going to fall. Either that be Chrysler, GM, or Ford. The thing about this alternative car thing is GM created an alternative for gas to hydrogen. The way gas prices have been going it’ll go up again after the holidays and it’s bound to get up to $4 again. These cars can get 300 miles for around $1.62. The dealer ship that came up with this idea is GM and they betted $1,000,000,000 that they would have these out by 2009 and would be sold for $16,000. The way GM’s crisis with money right now is going they might not make it and for the fact other dealer ships got a hold of this idea and there are already hydrogen cars bought over on the west coast. There are 30 in California and there are already hydrogen gas pumps up. The way these cars are designed is there is this skate board figure that will be under you that has the engine under you and the hydrogen gas. On top there will be a big cap you can put on top of the skate board figure and you can change it if you want to. The interior can be designed anyway you want. There will be no steering wheel anymore but a steering wheel that you can pull forward to go and pull back to stop. They say gas is so bad for the world and that’s one of the reasons why we have Global Warming well this alternative with the hydrogen will burn up and turn it in to water (water purer than tap water out of the faucet). The car has passed all the safety inspections and if it were in an accident the car crumbles in a way so the passengers don’t get hurt. The bad things that can come with this car is if people aren’t strong enough to pull the steering wheel back and forth, glass comes over the car all in the front, because there’s not an engine in front anymore and if there were to be an accident the glass would shatter, and like the Hindenburg it was filled with hydrogen and it mysteriously burst in to flames and unfortunately your basically driving a bomb. The way things are going this car sounds really good to have. We’re not going to have the gas cars forever after all.

The KKK

“White Power,” is what you would here if you were near the KKK. KKK stands for Ku Klux Klan and they are a terrorist organization that opposes African Americans, Jews, and any other minorities. The KKK was created in 1865 after the civil war ended; it was created to restore white supremacy. The organization decreased between 1868 and 1870, and then finally Ulysses S. Grant ended all of it. Later in 1915 the KKK was found again and majorly grew after WW1. The violence started to raise there were a lot of lynching, beatings, attacks in public and houses, and even murders. Their symbol was burning the cross to intimidate the people.
The Klan decreased during the Great Depression times and fell during WW2. During the Civil Rights Movement the KKK was named out a lot and they were convicted of manslaughter and murders. They had a problem with what is called “The Jim Crow Laws” meaning separate, but equal. African Americans had every right to what whites had, but it had to be seperate. The KKK of course did everything they could to decrease this. The KKK started to decrease more in to the early 1990’s and still from this day there are over 40 groups of them left.
My concern is with Obama being president will this rise again? On the internet it says that the KKK has endorsed Obama and they said that they would rather vote for him than Hillary Clinton any day, but the funny thing is that is a rumor spreading all over the internet. Why would the KKK after 50 years start supporting an African American? There is a clan called “The Knight’s Party” lead by Thomas Robb says now the whites are the minority and they will do anything to protect white supremacy. There are also videos that say he will be assassinated if elected president. Have you noticed though that all the great presidents get assassinated; for example JFK, Lincoln, McKinley, and Garfield. There have already been rumors going around that some people were going to his campaign and had AK’s in the back ready to assassinate him. We could have all predicted this racial thing was going to happen, but it’s great to finally have a change in America having our first ever black president. America has came a long way from what it use to be and for all the people out there that have a problem with other diversities I feel really bad for you.

Outrages of Celebritys

Why is it that whenever celebritys get in trouble with the law they get away with it...? OR when they do get in trouble they can go to jail for a short amount of time and not have to serve the full sentence? Where as an ordinary person has to suffer and don't get off. One name of a celebrity that shows up alot is Paris Hilton...... She has been arrested multiple times for drunk driving, which is when she finally had to serve her full term. The funny thing is she got out for a little time, because she was having a hard time. Another person is Lindsey Lohan for drunk driving, but just like Paris she gets off easy. There are so many actors, singers, actresses, models, and etc. that get in trouble with the law all the time and get off easy. Normal American citizens never and will ever have it let go and slide by like they do? Why is this? The world is so crooked these days that it is sad... Take O.J. Simpson for example, he's convicted of killing his wife and a friend, I think, and there are so many clues that lead to the murder and he gets let off easy. A little over a year he gets convicted again for a felony, but this time it's I think a robbing.... A little strange huh? He gets let off again, but not too long ago he actually gets convicted of another heist.... Come on people it doesn't take a genious to figure this out? Now if this were a normal average everyday life person there is no way they would've gotten off the first conviction of the murder. This makes me realize that the world is so persuaded by money and wealth that it makes you feel so unsafe.

The Troubles of Christmas

Christmas is an awesome time of the year. There are cookies, presents, family time, and so much more. Christmas is especially a fun time when you are a kid, because as you get older it's not as fun anymore. The one thing about Christmas though, is they're trying to change it to happy holidays which I think it's bogus. It started out as the American tradition of saying Merry Christmas therefore I think it should stay that way. It's not fair for people from other countries to come over here and say it offends them. Well how about we go over to your country and say it offends us that you say Happy Holidays. Many countries have different ways of celebrating Christmas so why should we have to change how we celebrate it, because you don't like it. Christmas shouldn’t be how you say it that counts; it should be how you celebrate it that counts. Many countries celebrate it from traditions that date back to hundreds years ago, some spend the holiday on the beach and eating cold salad instead of turkey, some celebrate it for many days, some think magical things happen on Christmas Eve, some people celebrate it with festivals and parades. So I sit here and think why does it matter what we call it. We are all celebrating the same thing and that’s Jesus’ birthday. I think that people need to get over what it is called and start having fun. Christmas comes only once a year and we should all celebrate and quit worrying about stupid petty things

Accidents

Do you think car accidents have to deal with a certain age group or the cell phone issue? I don't want to offend anyone, and I'm not trying to. If you ask me I don't know what to believe? I believe in God, but then again the evolution thing is really close to. There are many conspiracies in the world, but they two main ones are evolution and creation. Evolution is traits inheritated and passed down, but there can be a change in some traits. The theory is supposedly man was made from the evolution of monkeys. The fact is that chimpanzees have 95.6% of our DNA. Now if you ask me thats a little creepy. Then there's the conspiracy of creation from God. Then again the thing is the bible has been re-written so many times. Evolutionist or the "scientist" believe that if we can't touch, hear, smell, or see the creator, then they cannot test the creator. They believe that they whole universe couldn't explode from nothing, therefore there's an scientific explanation for everything, but the thing is they haven't found anything to explain it Then we have Adam and Eve the first man and woman that were created. If you have never heard of the story it goes that Adam and Eve were to never eat off a special tree in the Eden Garden, well one day a snake came by "the devil" and convinced them to eat it. So they took a bit and the story goes God cursed all man from then on. Evolution started in Europe and later a man named Charles Darwin wrote a book about evolution and this started a big controversy with the church. As for creation everyone accepted it and it goes way back? There are many trials for this controversy like Daniel vs. Waters and The Butler Act and Monkey Scopes trail. To tell you the truth I don't think we will ever find out and if we do there will still be a big controversy.

The problem with obesity

There is so much obesity and America is the number one country with the most people who are obese. Obesity means when fat becomes so extensive that it starts affecting the health. The BMI (Body Mass Index) should be between 18.5-24.9 kg/m for a normal BMI. Overweight is between 25-29.9 kg/m. Most health problems that occur are cardiovascular disease, diabetes type 2 which is the worst one to have, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, types of cancer, and it can reduce your life expectancy. How you get obese is when you take in too much energy (food) then what your metabolism can handle and also with the lack of physical activity. Most people who are obese have it from a genetic, medical, or psychiatric condition. It has become a really bad problem now that you see younger children become obese. Most of it has to do with video games, instead of going outside to waste all their energy and working their intake they took in that day they sit inside and play video games all day long. A lot of it also has to do with fast food places. It is so convenient to just stop by on the way home or on your lunch break to a fast food place that no one is getting the nutrition they need instead they get all the fatty foods and no calcium, Vitamins, and etc. Now the statistics are 80% of offspring from two obese parents are obese versus 10% of normal weight offspring had normal weight parents. The medical part is some medicines can make you can weight. For example birth control, insulin, steroids, hormonal contraception, and etc. The psychiatric part is it is not a disorder it’s just an illness. How we can fix all this are a balanced diet and a physical exercise. But it's not that easy most of the time that means you has to manage your own calorie intake for the day and this is really hard for some people. You can also take drugs to maintain a weight loss. You can take a pill that absorbs fat or you can do surgery where they can remove part of your stomach so you can get fuller faster, but that can also be dangerous and can lead to health problems to. So what I would stick to is the nutrious diet and exercise, because it is the most affective way to lose weight. Obesity has become a problem in the U.S. no doubt about it.

World Hunger

What's funny is there are so many people who have nice things, have a house over their head, have food and water and etc. while there are so many other kids who are starving. It's sad because most kids who do have these values abuse and don't realize how blessed they are. There are kids who would kill to have the things we do. When you see on the commercials people who are starving and they ask to give money; most people don't even stop to really think about it. Put yourself in their positions, if you were starving wouldn't you want someone to give you something. Poverty is such a terrible thing, and most people sometimes don't have that choice they are just born in to poverty. What if the world didn't have to suffer this? Sitting here trying to trace back to where everything started and wondering if it started with the first person? Wouldn't it be nice to give people food and clothing and shelter, but not even enough money could do that. It's not fair how some people can't help that they are born in to it and have to suffer. Even thinking about it, it is really hard to come up with any solutions on how to solve this. There could be the solution of just not having money anymore so people could survive, but then again we do need that to hold some structure in life. So what can we do? Alot of people die everyday from this problem alot of it is from malnutrition. There are two types of malnutrition micronutrient deficiency and protein energy malnutrution. More than 50 million people suffer from this and the number keeps on growing. Most kids who suffer malnutrition can suffer up to 160 days of being sick plus may cause a life times of problems. The funny thing is the world DOES produce enough food to feed everyone, so if these people suffer and we have enough food to feed them why don't we? Every 3.6 seconds someone dies from hunger and about 15 million children die every year. Race has a big part to do with it to 46% African American, 40% are Latino, and only 16% of whites starve. Most of the starvation is in Europe. Don't you think this is a problem. It would be nice to solve this, but reality is it will never happen, but it would be nice to take measures to try to reduce the statistics.

The Economy

So I sit here and wonder what's going to happen with the economy. Are we going to have another Great Depression... I don't know what will happen, but it's really scary and already millions of people have lost thousands out of the bank. I haven't pulled anything out of my bank because I think it's safe, but what happens supposedly is when the bank is going to close they have people's companies that own money to the bank, they take all their money and foreclose the company on them which doesn't access money to the company so they're done. Now think of that as a chain linking problem.... ya I know our whole country starts to shut down. And the whole presidential race right now scares me...! I think that if McCain wins the nomination I kind of fear that our country will keep going the way it is..... The bail out announcement that Bush just made about giving peoples tons of money so the banks don't foreclose on them; Everyone knows that they are just going to do it again! To be in politics and deal with this kind of stuff would make me want to pull my hair out not only that but if something goes wrong you get blamed for it.... Whatever happens to this country I hope it only gets better, because another thing we don't need is the economy going down!

The New Blog

This is my new blog and mostly is going to be based on things thats on my mind, thoughts, and mostly topics on the world today!
