Key West, Florida

If you have been to Key West I’m pretty sure you would agree with me that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It’s so tropical and so small and historical that you really catch the vibe of the place. There are so many things to do down there from Jet Skiing in the Caribbean and Atlantic, Parasailing, scuba diving and snorkeling, ghost tours, shopping and so much more. Key West is approximately 7 miles wide and is away from the Peninsula of Florida. Key West has everything from Ernest Hemingway’s house to a naval air station, to Robert the Doll.
Key West is a major tourist attraction and has tons of people who come from all over the world to visit its beauty. Many of its bars and grills are featured on the travel channel and have some of the top ten beaches. Key West is sadly has the second highest rate for suicides which leads this little town to be haunted. You can find these places from what I mentioned earlier Robert the Doll, the old theatre, the morgue house, the old court house, and etc. They have ghost tours and I would recommend on going on one.
They also have many fun things to do in the water from water skiing and jet skiing in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea to parasailing. You can also scuba dive and go snorkeling in the reefs. They have many tropical fish and tons of museums on the island. Key West even has a yacht club and its own little airport for planes of course.
Believe it or not the island of the peninsula of Florida isn’t the last of the keys; it has many little islands called the Key Islands and has little special names for them.
Key West is also one of the wealthiest towns in America and is a place for people who retire. The bad part of it is it gets hit by lots of hurricanes that do come that way but the town is well prepared for it though. There are a lot of famous people who came from Key West to basketball players to baseball. Believe it or not Jimmy Buffet is also known to live there.
Key West is definitely amazing little island and I would recommend going there before you die or for any fun vacation where you want to just get away in paradise.
